A lot of big name apps from Google, for instance, manage to fail on Android, and people are seeking similar alternatives that have a much longer shelf life, like with the HD Camera Ultra app available for the Android OS.
Reviewing the HD Camera Ultra App
There really isn't a whole lot to say about the HD Camera Ultra app for Android that hasn't been said about Google's official camera app. In essence, the HD Ultra is a clone of the Google app, and it works the same way and has all the same features. So, why would you download this app instead of the Google app? For years now many people have been complaining that Google's app experiences freezes, lags and crashes, and that it sometimes simply won't work. With the HD Camera app, however, some of the kinks seem to have been ironed out, and what you end up with is an app that's more reliable than Google's, although not giving you anything at all different than the Google original. So, sure, you can stick with Google if your camera app hasn't given you any issues. But if you're one of the many people to experience these issues with Google's app, then this one might be worth a download.
The same settings, presets, auto, macro and focus settings are available on this app, and the layout is very similar. Although Google's has that proprietary sort of design, this one isn't all that bad to look at. Though when you boil it down, it's all about functionality. That this particular app functions well is enough for most people.
